This project consists of a series of photographs (digital and analogue), mezzotints and a descriptive teaser. The themes tackled in the images are: introspection, loneliness and isolation with a focus on stillness as a central element in building the overall atmosphere.

Darkness is the mental and visual base that acts as a subconscious, liminal space out of which sublte, luminous elements, memories, dreams, fantasies emerge accentuating the mystery of the image. The images hold a tension between the revealing compact luminous areas and the floating blackness  hiding the at times scarry, at times conforting unknown.
